We are a company with over three decades of experience working on generators and construction equipment. Our mechanics hold certifications in JLG and Deutz as well as training in Doosan, Bobcat, Cummins/Onan, Genie, John Deere, and others as we continue to expand our company’s knowledge. We have experience working on all brands and types of equipment such as telehandlers, man lifts, scissor lifts from JLG and Genie, skid steers from John Deere and Bobcat, generators made by Generac, MQ, MMD, etc. with engines made by Isuzu, John Deere, Cummins, etc. with generator stator ends of Stamford, Yanmar, and more. We are proficient in chasing electrical issues on all equipment and controllers. With our time in the industry we have been afforded the opportunity to work for Tier 2, 3, 4i, 4f, and are currently starting to see more Tier 5 machines granting us the ability to work on pre DEF and DEF equipped units. With this we have been able to fine tune our diagnosis and when it comes to DEF systems we are able to check the systems over and perform the appropriate repairs whether that is a concentration check, part replacement, bake, or regeneration.

Owner
STANFORD TORVIK
Stanford Torvik is the Owner of TOP Equipment. He has over 42 years of business experience serving the critical infrastructure sectors of electric, gas and water utilities. He brings this understanding of Critical Services and a focus on Customer Care to the heavy equipment maintenance business.
Stanford brings a fresh approach to solving the most challenging problems and delivering efficient processes to support client needs. TOP Equipment brings together an incredible team of experts whose depth of experience can resolve almost any equipment repair task in this space. Stan has built long term relationships in his other businesses and will focus his efforts on customer needs in the equipment maintenance sector as well. We are laying a foundation for a company that will be around for many years focused on long term service and not just a ‘one and done’ type approach.

Cody Criddle
Cody is the Chief Executive Officer of TOP Equipment, brings over 20 years of leadership in construction and project management to lead the company’s generator and construction equipment repair services. Based in Adkins, TX, Cody spearheads growth by fostering strong client partnerships and innovative solutions. His commitment to integrity and operational excellence inspires high-performing teams to deliver reliable, client-focused results, establishing TOP Equipment as a trusted leader in the equipment repair industry.
Chief Operating Officer
Justin Bedard
Justin is the Director of Operations for TOP Equipment interests. He brings a long history of customer relations and technical expertise. Technology is central to our ability to address the most difficult issues related to resolving equipment maintenance or equipment failure mitigation. Justin is well versed in the application of technology to critical processes.
Head Mechanic
STEVEN WINKLER
Steven is the Principal and Lead Mechanic for TOP Equipment. He has 12 years of experience working on light/medium duty equipment and has a specialization in generator repair. Steven is a Texas Lutheran University graduate with a BA Degree in Biology. He found a passion for being a mechanic and started as a generator mechanic in the Eagle Ford Oil Shale region. Steven progressed from working in the oilfield to general equipment repair. He started to expand his work focus to many different types of equipment. His skills diversity expanded into light and medium duty equipment as well as any kind of DEF system problems. Steven Winkler takes pride in the quality of his work and being able to help his customers get back to operational status with confidence in their equipment. Steven’s commitment to the highest level of integrity in all his dealings is a significant element in his customer’s satisfaction.

Matthew Torvik
Matt is the Controller for TOP Equipment. He brings extensive experience in Financial Strategies, Client Billing, Payroll, and Insurance. He has leadership roles in other businesses, some of which are nationwide service footprint. He has extensive experience from both running his own company to being part of a Big Six consulting firm. His organizational skills bring solid value to the provider/client relationship.
